Not long ago, the construction project of nation states was considered unrealistic. Narrowly attached microstates, each of them having its own currency, laws and constitution, marked their borders by plenty of landmarks. But that construct was inefficient in terms of solving problems of cross-border dimension. For that reason the landmarks were moved and nation states were shaped. Today, 200 years after, this kind of temporary design has become tumbledown.

We are permanently confronted with construction projects of an apparently utopian character. In a globalized world where mankind is getting increasingly interconnected global solutions are needed, but they cannot be provided by the nation states anymore. At COSMOPOLIS.CC we outline and discuss the course of action to realize the necessary rebuilding of our world. «Republic» literally means «common cause». Only a worldwide republic can be considered as a sincere republic. Therefore, it is inevitable to proclaim a meta-national and grassroots-democratic republic without territorial dependencies, a united republic of mankind: working title «COSMOPOLIS». It´s pretty simple: We need to recognize and accept the world as our «common cause». We got to abolish borders both in our minds as well as in the material world. We got to start working right now!
